Fun Projects you can do this Halloween

With Halloween around the corner, I have dug out all of the fun Halloween fabric and projects I can find.

I am so excited about these Cats, Bats and Jacks fat quarter bundles I picked up from Riley Blake.

  I though they would make darling projects such as quilts, Aprons, Table runners, and my favorite, I will be doing a class, Pop up treat bags.
This one is done with the Eerily Elegant line by Deb Strain.  It is still available on the website. Here I hope to add some new and fun designs to these for my little spooks to use for their trick or treat bag.

Last year I designed this pillow kit using the eerily elegant panels 
I still have a couple available in the shop.  I love how it turned out.  Friends made a jellyroll race quilt with this panel in the middle and it turned out fantastic.  I am hoping to get the quilt top to get it quilted soon.  I will post pictures on the instagram feed when I get it done.

I am excited for new changes.  Today is my Grandma's birthday! She is responsible for my sewing endeavors.  She first introduced me to sewing machine and to sewing in general.  She used to make us these amazing things like shorts for the summer, costumes, doll clothes, amazing things.  She made us a few blankets but she wasn't really a quilter.  I don't have the love for sewing clothing, maybe that will come one day. In honor of her birthday I am announcing a redo of the website!  We have been working on it for a couple of months now.  It is a lot more aesthetically what I wanted, among other things functionally.  So, watch for the new launch coming soon!
